Despite the downpour today Spring is definitely approaching and happens to be one of my favourite times of the year for new plans and fresh ideas. This time last year I was full of excitement preparing for the Country Living Fair. One year later a lot has happened including having another baby and although I’m not participating this year, I am really looking forward to attending this year’s fair for a spot of shopping and inspiration.

Just as exciting however is the recent news that I have got into Renegade Craft Fair at the Truman Brewery (April 11th & 12th). I have heard great things about this event so I can’t wait to be involved. Following this I will also have a stall at The Crafty Fox in Brixton (Sat 25th April), a really fab event I have had the privilege of selling at before.

Let the making begin…

Having been a little busy (and a lot tired!) with a newborn baby, I have just started to get back into the groove of making and planning Christmas fairs. It was a lovely boost to get my Country Living Christmas issue and find my String Dispenser in there. Just love being busy making again and lots of new ideas popping into my head – just hope the little fella will do some sleeping and give me time to develop them…

Had an amazing time at Country Living Spring Fair’s pop-up market. The day flew by, met lots of lovely people and would love to do it all again. Also discovered Good Homes have printed a page of my work (see below). Very exciting. Now looking forward to the fantastic Frome Independent Market this Sunday (6th May).

A busy couple of weeks making and preparing and now one day to go until The Country Living Kitchen Table Talent Pop-Up Market. I have a few new products and designs ready for the show, one of my favourites being this Kilner Jar of ‘Buffalo’ Bakers Twine with lots of lovely colours to choose from:

Following a hectic lead up to Christmas making and selling, it has been a more chilled and chilly January and February working on new ideas and plans for 2014. However, I just heard that my application to the Country Living Kitchen Table Pop-Up Market was successful! My favourite mag and I am beyond excited to have this opportunity to exhibit for the day. Just over two weeks to go so need to get busy, busy making… watch this space for pics of some new products I will launch at the show.

Busily organising a Christmas Fair at The Bishop’s Palace in Wells this week (Thursday 5th December 3-9pm). We have a fantastic range of stalls selling all hand made products from the region and a selection of Independent shops are joining us in opening late. Having just been at Made in Bristol and Frome Artisan over the weekend so I am also busy making more stock. I recently brought together two of my favourite things – Kilner jars and ribbons – to create this vintage kilner jar ribbon dispenser… only have a few left to sell at the fair on Thursday.

Really enjoyed recent markets The Crafty Fox in Brixton and the Frome Artisan pictured below. Though it was a rainy day in Frome it was still a busy market with a great atmosphere and was nice to meet some lovely and talented people. Looking forward to Bath and Bristol next where I will have more festive items such as Christmas ribbon pots and vintage bobbin decorations below.

I must admit to a bit of news neglect recently but following a busy summer I have then been immersed in supplying shops and making for forthcoming craft fairs. Only a day to go until I head to London for the Crafty Fox in Brixton which looks like a fab event.

New colours of red and grey in bobbin design jars will be on sale along with my haberdashery print cotton bag – a nice little gift for craft loving friends.

After a hectic weekend at the Priddy Folk Festival I got a lovely email letting me know that I got into The Crafty Fox fair in Brixton. Very much looking forward to be participating in that alongside my fab and talented friend Charlotte Farmer. I also just got sent a pic from LIza at MADE in Clifton of their gorgeous shop window which includes a few of my items right in the middle…

In addition to Sew Vintage in Wells (pic below), I am now pleased to be selling via some of my favourite shops, The Makery in Bath, MADE in Bristol and Millie Moon in Frome.

I also have a new product finished I have been working on – a ribbon dispenser to help keep your favourite ribbons tidy and easy to get to:
